aka. Smash Bros. Wishlist: Balloon Fighter
You know, I actually thought he'd appear in Smash 4. You know, bringing mack NES characters. Melee brought Ice Climbers, Brawl brought Pit and Smash 4 brought... Duck Hunt Duo. Fine by me, but I still thought Balloon Fighter would be the new NES character. A while after the game's releases, I thought of having a moveset for the Balloon Fighter inspired by Pac-Man and the Duck Hunt Duo. Here's my... odd thoughts for this fighter.
----------
-Normal Attacks-
Neutral: 2-Punch Combo: Throws two punches. Not particularly powerful. Nor can it easily kill at say, 300%.
Side: Punch: A stronger punch, but still not very powerful and won't send one flying easily.
Up: Up Punch: Throws a punch upwards. Not very powerful, but will send one flying up a bit easier.
Down: Kick: Stretches out a leg for a kick. Not very powerful, but can trip your foes.
Dash: Trip: Slides on the ground. Can hit up to twice if spotted correctly and is okay in strength.

-Aerial Attacks-
Neutral: Spin: Stretches his arms out and spins horizontally. Can hit multiple times and has good strength and knockback.
Forward: Kick: Spins and kicks forward. Hits once, but the kick can deal great damage and knockback.
Back: Arm Flaps: Flaps his arms behind him twice for two hits. The first hit is weak, but the second does considerably more damage and knockback.
Up: Up Kick: Kicks upwards, almost flipping his entire body. Is relatively powerful and has strong vertical knockback.
Down: Multi-Kicks: Creates a flurry of kicks downwards. Each kick has minor damage and little knockback. The final kick does much more and also spikes slightly.

-Smash Attacks-
Side: Flipper: Creates a Flipper in front. The direction can be angled to be either clockwise or anti-closewise and send foes upwards or downwards. Either way, it's powerful, hits multiple times and can send one flying.
Up: Flipper: Creates a Flipper above. The direction can be angled to send them left or right, and it can hit foes multiple times and is powerful in strength and knockback.
Down: Dual Flippers: Creates Flippers either side. They still hit multiple times and can send foes flying, but not on the level of an Up or Side Smash.

-Grabs & Throws-
Pummel: Helmet Bash: Hits the foe with his head. Does little damage, but can be spammed a bit more than other pummels.
Forward: Throw: Tosses the foe forward. Does good damage and knockback.
Back: Throw: Slips horizontally to throw the foe behind. Does good damage and knockback.
Up: Throw: Tosses the foe upwards. Does little damage, but send the foe decently high.
Down: Ground Slam: Slams the foe on the ground. Does great damage and sends foes slightly into the air.

-Special Attacks-
Neutral: BalloonFighter Neutral by GamefreakDX Thunder Cloud: Places a cloud right above him. It will fire up to two electric bolts. The cloud, the thunder and the spark can hurt foes. The cloud does minimal damage and little knockback, but the placement of it can possibly trap foes. The thunder has a much smaller hitbox, but it very powerful. The spark bounces around the stage and foes. Interaction with it will deal good damage, but little knockback, but it can also paralyse foes for a moment. After the two strikes, the cloud will disappear, but you can't immediately respawn it.
Side: BalloonFighter Side by GamefreakDX Clu Clu Land: A bit similar to Pac-Man's Side Special, but creating bars to navigate. A small grid will appear for you to create a path. You yourself, won't deal damage, but the trampoline you create at the end can. Not the best upward recovery and will even put you in a helpless state, but the damage it can do to enemies can be massive along with the knockback. Crystals will also be made along the movement through. The crystals act as walls which will knock your foe forward a bit and put them in a tripped state. The main problem with this attack is that it's a bit slow, but the crystal and the trampoline will linger for a short while.
Up: BalloonFighter Up by GamefreakDX Pipe Shot: Shoot yourself upwards. The shot upwards has a strong windbox and while you're going up, you can harm foes. Not very much though. From there, you glide downwards trying to stomp on foes slowly as you descend. It's powerful though. A foe's simple touch of your two balloons will cause them to pop. Run out and you glide with a parachute and you can't attack, but still control yourself. If you lose that, then you enter a helpless state, but you can't control yourself until you reach the ground. Either that or you can enter free fall by pressing down or execute and Aerial Attack. You fall faster and can't use another Special Attack until you land, but you can use Aerials and still have a few more jumps.
Down: BalloonFighter Down by GamefreakDX Balloon Fighter: Summons an enemy Balloon Fighter. He isn't very powerful, but can annoy other players. If a foe hits its balloon, it'll immediately fall. Not even go into a parachute state. The Balloon Fighter won't stay out forever anyway, but it will eventually disappear on its own. If it is defeated, you won't be able to use it again for a while.
Final Smash: BalloonFighter Final Smash by GamefreakDX: Back Hole: Creates a Black Hole in front and it lingers. It's small, but the wind box to capture players is strong and large. If one is captured, they'll be sent to another dimension where Balloon Fighter, Sea Urchins, etc. attack the captured ones. Deals massive damage and has high knockback. Normally KOing one instantly.

-Other Attacks-
Ledge: Punch: Punches to get back onto the stage. Okay in strength and knockback.
Get-Up: Punch-Kick: Punches one side and kicks the other. Not at the same time though, but it's quick. Deals okay damage and knockback.

-Gimmick-
I planned for this guy to be the opposite of Little Mac. Having this fighter to be much stronger in the air. He has tons of jumps and his Aerial moveset is much stronger than his Normal moveset. His Smashes and Specials don't apply to this though. Although his ground attacks aren't as weak as say, Little Mac's aerials.

A bit of a weird moveset I think... But you know, it's just my own ideas. I know that Balloon Fighter's had other games too, but I don't know of them and I wanted to stick with the NES game anyway.
Balloon Fighter and Clu Clu Land belong to Nintendo
